Dr Anne Wheldon, Technical Director

Responsible for the technical assessment of applications, seminars and technical communication. Formerly Head of the Energy Group at the University of Reading and Fellow of the Energy Institute.

Joanna Walton, Senior Communications Manager

Manages overall communications including the Awards ceremony, design of publicity materials and the website. Formerly Director of Communications at the Media Trust.

Robert Moffat, Head of Development

Responsible for charitable and corporate fundraising.

Juliet Heller, Media and PR Manager

Copy-writer for Awards materials and website. Oversees media strategy. Media consultant specialising in international development, environment and science issues.

Dr Mike Pepler, Technical Manager

Provides technical assistance to the judges, organises seminars and conducts research. Formerly a renewable energy engineer and consultant.

Simon Brammer, UK Programme Manager

Provides post-award development advice to UK winners. Formerly head of the London Cycling Campaign.

Mariana Mazon, International Programme Manager

Provides post-award development advice for International winners. Previously developed and managed sustainable energy and water programmes in Mexico and the UK.

Jane Howarth, Awards Co-ordinator

Co-ordinates the awards process and is primary contact for applicants and finalists.

Danielle Jones, PA to Sarah Butler-Sloss

Provides PA support to Executive Chair and External Relations Director and support to The Ashden Trust and Ashden Award Trustees.

Suzy Van den Eynde, Administrative Assistant

Provides office and administrative support to the Awards team.
