Grameen Shakti, winners of the Outstanding Achievement Award in 2008 have recently signed a major agreement with JP Morgan, following an introduction by the Ashden Awards ongoing support programme. The new agreement will enable Grameen Shakti to construct 500,000 stoves by 2010 and 5.5 million stoves by 2015, significantly expanding their stoves operation across Bangladesh - improving health and reducing CO2 emissions.
