We would like all our award winners to become models of excellence in sustainable energy to encourage others along this path.

Learning from the needs of past winners, we've embarked on a wider support programme that offers advice and support such as business planning; mentoring or placing qualified volunteers; organisational development or training; technical support and funding ideas.

This work is already underway with winners in Africa and Asia and we expect it to expand over coming years.

Our business partners are British Gas plc in the UK and the Global Village Energy Partnership (GVEP) for our international projects.
